Hosting Quickplay with duo results in no one ever joining

Hi, so like title says i've tried countless times to host a game with a friend and it will result in people not ever joining our party... For some reason when i join a quickplay and this person is searching for players it fills almost right away.. Am i doing something wrong ? is there an option that i dont know of..? cuz im kinda tired of playing with my friend + bots

Happened to me a few times. Just restart the game and you should have people join in immediately.

It happens to me too. Changing host so my partner host sinstead of me or vice versa or restarting game usually fixes it.

Thanks for the replies guys... but still no luck idk what to do anymore ... there isn’t a way to ask for help to gms/devs and I’ve tried everything including what you guys mentioned ... sucks that I can only play with my duo + bots ...

Thats strange. Normally if no one joins at the keep, i just start the game and they join as soon the match is loaded

Yeah.. I’ve done some solo quick play and if I happen to join a group with 2 people in it it almost fills up immediately while in my case I go 5 matches with 2 bots eventually giving up ... and just quitting the game

Hmm. Maybe you are the problem. Have you tried to let your friend host a match?

I've found from time to time the lobby actually "Bugs" and people wont join in the tower but they will the moment you start loading into a map, have you attempted to start with just you two and seen if people join right away? if not give it a go and see if it is just a lobby "bug"

Yeah I’ve tried restarting client restarting pc my friend joining then me searching... joining my friend and him searching but won’t work... I just don’t understand how fatshark doesnt have a helpdesk or custsupport im stuck playing with my duo + retarded stupid bots..

Yeah ..we eventually give up from waiting 20-30 minutes in keep and we decide to just run maps .. but still we finish 4-5 maps and no one ever joins.. whenever I tab In game my match is public but still no luck ... what ends up happening is we just get mad over bots making dumb decisions and dying and we quit

This is probably the result of one of you having strict NAT combined with the duo of heroes you both choose to play (popularity-wise).

My NAT type is open same as his thought about this too.. but that isnt the case eiter and the combination we use is Pyro+BH is hard to believe there isnt a dwarf kruber or elf to join during 6hrs + of gameplay lol

Nah something is wrong on your end, maybe steam issue. I always host QM with my friend and people join almost immediately. Especially since no one is even dropping in, thats a dead giveaway that something is going on on your end.

Where are you guys from? Try changing your download region in Steam/Settings/Downloads

Also- are you sure your and your friend’s game is actually the current version?

Me and my friend are from Central America, i'm guessing thats the root of all our issues.. i''m gonna try the download region thing .. and yes my friend's game is in the currrent version of gam
