Barrage vs Hunter vs Conservative Shooter

Picking a trait for Repeater Handgun (Kruber weapon) and can't decide between these three.
Using ranged weapon for occasional specials, but mainly against bosses.
Why not Longbow? Because it's a Merc.

I heard that Barrage stacks up to 5 times (is that even true), so potentially 25% power boost.

Hunter is also a 25% power boost "for a short time", but requires a crit. With talents and properties I maybe able to manage 20% crit chance, so overall Barrage looks more consistent to me, provided the info about stacking is true.

Conservative shooter potentially provides unlimited ammo, which equals more damage.

Thoughts?

If it's mainly going to be used against bosses, you'd probably be better off with Barrage since it's consistent

Barrage doesn't work atm, so it's either hunter if u want a little more dmg or conservative shooter but i'd go with scrounger on repeater just because its so inaccurate. I'd never use repeater to begin with, tho, i'd go with blunderbuss crit property and scounger so you get full ammo from critting into a horde with a bash. If you want to have the ability to shoot at a long range handgun is the only workable option with conservative shooter.

IDK, tried blunderbuss but didn't liked it since I meet ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who can't kill a tagged special in less than 5 seconds quite often.

But thanks, I'll keep that in mind.
