How do I know if I score a critical hit?

Is there any kind of indicator? I'm playing w/ Kerillian if that matters. Just trying to get an idea of how wide the backstab area for murderous prowess is.

idk about the indicator for ranged, but melee weapons have this sort of shockwave if you do a swing and it crits ... probably not the best words to describe it, im not english ;)

Orange swing fx for melee weapon and orange hitmarker for headshots

Just head to the training puppets within the lobby and do some melee / ranged tests. the colored indicators are pretty easy to differ.
