Vermintide 2 continues to crash my computer
I can get a game or two in before my computer crashes completly. Then for the next few hours it becomes virtually impossible to finish a single mission before it crashes again. There seems to be nothing wrong on my end so im looking for help here. Love this game and wish to keep playing but I will soon stop booting it up if this keeps happening.

What are your specs?

Maybe your GPU/CPU is very hot?

Try validating the game's cache?

Run on the lowest setting?

This. V2 puts my own computer under a bit of strain. It can handle it, but it heats up more than some other games. Chances are that if your comp is overheating, this simply compounds the issues if you log in after crashes and try to go in again (which will just make the comp crash more frequently).

You can limit FPS to 60 in the options if it runs faster than that to lower the heat without affecting graphics quality.

I have the same problem. My rig is not overheating. Have two 970gtx and an i7 4790, 16gb ram. I play on 1600p because sli is not supported so no 4k (I only got about 25 fps).
Sometimes only the game crashes with error message, sometimes the whole PC freezes. I don't have any problems with other games except Kingdom Come Deliverance. There it randomly crashes after about 30 min.

Can you post your session logs from a crash so I can take a look? Go to “C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2\console_logs” and find the log that matches the session in which the problem occurred.

The graphics driver reports lost contact with the graphics card. We're working with NVidia to try to track down the problems related to this. In the mean time, updating the graphics driver *sometimes* helps and clean re-install of the driver, but no guarantees.

Hi, my game also (hard) crashes. No overheating (GPU under 70c celsius with 90fps cap). Specs: AMD Ryzen 7 @3750 // 2x8GB DDR4 3200 // AMD R9 Fury (tested Crimson and adrenaline drivers; crashes on both) // Xonar Exxence STX // Windows 10

This is a UI related crash that I don't think we have seen before. We'll be looking into this.
