The death of the Minotaur
Since Beastmen have been greatly reduced/ removed from most maps (a good thing in my opinion...), the Minotaur boss is now very rare.

I can´t remember ever encountering him during the last weeks except on Dark Omens map.

That´s actually a sad thing, I liked this boss. It brings in some variation.

Could there be any way to bring him back as regular boss spawn on other maps as well?

I've seen him spawn in my runs on normal maps but it is pretty rare.

I like him too (aesthetically), but God no, do not add him as regular boss. People already get wiped by a Chaos Spawn and a wave. Adding him would double the chance of loosing with random PuGs.

Things are fine as they are.

I just want more maps with beastmen. I paid for them and then they got removed. I'd like to see them more in weaves, at least.

Meh when I see beastmen they still dominate the map, but indeed rare is the minotaur... he’s the most OP boss to solo so I’m okay with it.

We need more beastmen from time to time.

Beastmen would be cool if not for the archers. Ranged non special/elite enemies are annoying as hell when they spawn in droves and snipe you from halfway across a field as a horde and boss comes.

I have to admit that I love the archers. It forces the ranged class in the team to actually provide cover fire instead of just trying to top imaginary damage meters, and gives shields more value against beastmen because they have no spellcasters. It also sometimes forces you to take cover, which I think was Fatshark's intention when they originally designed rattling gunners but it didn't work because the gunner was just a single target that could be sniped/stunlocked to death. Fatshark was probably really disheartened when they finally got it right and teams had to use cover and cover fire, only for people to complain about it. Personally, having archers fire at me as a slayer and putting a gor between the line of fire of me and the archer, similar to w/ a rattling gun, and then throwing an axe or leaping to them after they've shot the gor attacking me, is one of the most satisfying moments in this game.

I enjoy them because its a unique element that separates them from the other factions.

Beastmen think the same about the our heroes.

Normally archers aren't an issue for me I just personally hate when there's a bunch of them shooting you from a spot you can't melee them from. I just like to conserve ammo w/ weapons that don't have the conservative shooter or crit refill trait. Or similarly Blightstormers that summon a storm from a location where they're "headbugging" and you can't hit them for some reason.

guessing u havent seen cata against the grain after the first tome barn area to the ammo/health spot.. 15-25 ungor archers with blights, monsters and a lot of roaming elites.. with beastigor ramming u like a homing missile from a mile away.

this and dark omen 2nd grim area.. heck they keep spawning with every horde..... da archers aint fun.. they headshot...other maps u can always bring them closer in close areas and melee them or 2-3 shot them with a range...

bots wont kill them unless melee range.. its all on you.

and while u trying to make sense of this chaos.. two flagbearers come...

Yes, sucks that beastmen are reduced and there are no beastmen in Drachenfels at all,
and yes, minotaur is very rare,
at least we can fight beastmen in weaves maps

This is more or less what I was talking about. I never noticed but Against the Grain does have an unreasonable amount of archers.

Speak for yourselves. I still think beastmen are not rare enough. Aka, they still exist.

They should never have existed as a rank-and-file horde enemy. They are more suited by design to patrols or other difficulty spikes.

They are definitely not rare, I play like 20 runs a day and they appear like almost 80% of it. Though minotaur is a big pain in the butt unlike other boss, too tanky, I have to use 3 dmg buff to kill it fast.
