Appreciated.
i use it on slayer just to shove SV. Smiter would be better for the OP, but there is still a reason to take enhanced power power other than increased range damage.
There's no reason at all to want to do that on Slayer compared to on IB or Ranger. You have Crunch Leap to do the staggering. At the very least, using EP to go for a stagger breakpoint on attacks like dual hammer lights would be an ok option for something like HBFS deeds, but for regular gameplay, that's a waste of a talent.
i usually just play the game solo, so i stack power vs sv because warpfire gunners and gunrats give me the ♥♥♥♥♥, and extra cc is just better than a bit of extra damage, for me and how i play anyway. Those running attacks can be hard to see in the big blob of enemies and knowing that i can just shove them blind is just like peace of mind or something.
oh yeah, i do it on the dual axes. Because i'm doing push attacks with them all the time. I know it's a lot invested into 1 enemy, but it's just 1 less thing that i have to worry about.
Or just have your allies with ranged weapons clear him in the first place.
gun rats and warpfire gunners make the bots derp out. You have to take them out pretty quick if you don't want your bots to die. They are just generally annoying for the slayer.
i mean, i did say that smiter would be better. I just like the peace of mind of being able to push SV that are attacking.
But to be honest it's mostly up to you, how you play and how you feel it in-game.
While I think it's important to consider breakpoint, it's also very important to consider how you feel about it. I don't mind having to hit a CW 2 more time because they are slow and I feel confortable running around them. I feel more confortable knowing that I can have a burst of damage on a problematic unit by just going leap+push attack.
Vermintide is all about gamefeel and that's why most hero do not have a "go to weapon". Some people feel more confortable with heavy attack, some with light attack, some with range attack ... There is probably something that is strictly better from a math point of view but vermintide isn't simply about math.
