The biggest issue (ignoring bh who doesnt have anything making the sword good anyway) is that the enemy masses arent there outside of special modifiers like twins. This makes all the cleave which is the 2h swords only argument irrelevant. Sure you can combat its ♥♥♥♥♥♥ elite damage with your ranged weapon but you still dont get alot of value out of the 2h sword as there arent enough enemies around to make it worth using. You just gimp your killspeed and mobility by choosing the greatsword.
For a standard repeater pistol build you would use rapier/axe n falchion/billhook. Those 3 weapons all have their spot. And they also work much better with bh lvl 5 talents. 2h sword would usually want to take thp on cleave. Thats not an option. The thp on crit/headshot is okish but definetly not great. Any of the 3 above mentioned weapons is much better with thp on crit/hs than 2h sword.
And youre not making a good argument for the 2h sword anyway. The only thing you say about 2h sword is that you can block with parry. But thats not a unique thing for 2h sword. You could take parry on any other weapon and block just as well.
