the i5 have 4cores / 4threads and no hyper threading ;)
you can edit the user_settings.cfg and set the numbers of threads to 3 instead of 2...
Not found in game files user_settings.cfg,Do you know where to get it out?
If you can, you can optimize the number of hyper-threads in the game. Many of my friends playing this game have also had 4cores / 4threads. As soon as the mouse is more than fps, it is unstable.
Thanks for your answer :)
Its in appdata.
If you use windows 10 go in search section near "start' button and enter this line
%appdata%
There you would see "fatshark" folder. Proceed there.
should look like this if you use win 10
C:\Users\username-pc\AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2\user_settings.cfg
open the .cfg with editor and search for :
max_worker_threads ( enter the number of threads you want )
and
process_priority ( change this entry to "high" )
maybe you should not set the threads to 4 ! set it to 3
Check to NOT have "read-only" in both file properties and in folder properties, it may interfere.
thats normal that the slide-bar and max number in the launcher dont change, but it should be no more red like before ;)
and you should notice a higher cpu ussage
When I was using an older i5 CPU with 4 threads, the CPU load was close to 100% with either 2 worker threads set via launcher, or 4 worker threads set via config.
i have first haswel cpu 3.1 ghz
