2nd grimoire with bots on Righteous Stand, should it just be left?

Third time now I've had one or 2 of the bots get stuck when I've gotten that grim or they fall one by one and need to be revived which isn't to bad. They just try to climb down the ladder but never actually get off. It ended the run this time as I had basically no health from dealing with a chaos spawn and beastmen alone while they were too busy pondering the finer mysteries of ladders. It seems a stupid place to put it if I have to cross my fingers the bots don't have a stupidity leak while I get it.

Is there a way to stop them or is it best to just leave that grimoire if you're playing with bots?

There is nothing special you have to do to get them to it. Once you're up there, stand on the crates that are there and wait for the bots to teleport over to you before you give the pickup command, because if you do it before the designated bot is up there, it'll stay in place down wherever it was and artificially prolong the teleport function.

My bad, I'm retarded and misread a bit. Either way, whether you leave it to them or get it yourself, what you should do is jump directly down to the ramp that's next to the grim area so that they are unable to path anywhere else, which will force them to teleport. Trying to get them to use the ladder to get back down is not a good idea.

I've personally had no issue just telling one of the bots to grab it and then leaving. The book will eventually teleport to the bot's pockets. I didn't wait for the bots to get in any position or anything.

When a book is unreachable for bots you can just stand by its side after ordering them to grab it. The bot then will simply pick up the book from afar.
That said there are a few books where that doesnt work as bots dont realize they cant get there. Athel tome 3 is one of those.

The only jump bots can't do is 3rd tome in Athel Yenlui. The jump is too close to the tome so they will try it and the tome won't be teleported to the bots. They can't do the jump and got stuck there forever.
In Righteous Stand, I'd give bots 1st grim and then take the 2nd one by myself.

They can get any grim if you tell them to get it then run away quickly and keep running. Sometimes they will just grab it from where they are standing magically and come with. Other times they will teleport to the area with the grim and grab it, then as you get far enough away they will teleport to you a second time.
