halberd 5% crit chance, 5% attack speed, swift slaying
30% stamina cost reduce / 2 stamina, 20% health, neutral bond
10% vs chaos / skaven
5% crit chance, 33% grimoire
talent 22221
does that still work for current patch?
hmm i like it
Meeeeh for huntsman build.
The way i like to play Huntsman is with handgun with conservative shooter trait (1ammo back on headshot), 1 handed weapon or mace&sword for the high mobility and finaly all reloadspeed oriented talent.
Very strong build because you never run out of ammo(and no need for crit chance stack contrary to what this guide suggest) , plebs will argue that with this build you only have like 30% ranged killes in total but this is more an elite/boss/special killer machine oriented build than an horde clear (witch is just useless imo).
repeater/ crit/crit power with crit on ammo
executioner crit/attk speed with swift slaying
2stam/20% health with nat b
attkspeed/crit power 20% with concoct
crit/curse resist with sharpernel
kill everything
patrols check
bosses check
horde check
u dont really need 10% vs armoured etc.. as repeater is damn strong and u have a lot of ammo
the trick is to get ammo with the spraying and not in few shots which is damn strong and very accurate in range.
first talent .. "on target" - reload no point as its already damn fast on reload so take on target .. easier with the spraying
second talent "make em bleed folk"s.. melt them CW on ulti ( u can insta kill two on spray headshots and not even lose any ammo with ulti)
third talent "makin it look easy".. this is obvious
fourth talent "soldier spirit"
fifth talent - blend in.. to keep getting ammo during a horde spray them get ammo.
currently the MOST OP weapon in vermintide 2 is that repeater.
executioner sword... u can solo a horde and even stormvermin patrol with stagger and cleavin. halfberd is so long time ago story atm.
gameplay
positioning, listening to ques, limiting horde slots surround etc...
what is wrong with longbow?
saltzy repeater pales in comparison
hmm okay
That's what I used mostly throughout my way to 100 wins.
While Repeater is fine and certainly has great potential on Huntsman, I can't say no to Manbow in any situation, due to how well it works against anything, provided you can hit the heads with it, outside of some exceptions.
Handgun works well, too; it's mostly a matter of preference between these two - instant removal of specials and consistent, albeit heavily skill-based weapon, or the one that does exceptionally well against everything - the Manbow. When playing Handgun, take both reload talents at Lv5 and Lv15, and pair it up with +Chaos/Infantry on Handgun, and same for Charm, together with Conservative Shooter for more ammo sustain.
There's the Repeater as well, but it's ridiculously strong on Huntsman, so unless you're opposed to playing over-performing weapons, in which case you should probably stay away from it, it's great, but hardly satisfying once fully exploited.
i like ur build
