So many players too heavy to be carried in legend, I don't know if it's a good advise.
If "enjoyable" is about performance, holydays and week-end are really bad moment to meet the player.
But I don't say that good players in Vermintide 2 are only hardcore gamers. To be honest, after hours and hours this game is about combo management (heroes and monsters) and positioning in the map. And the community is full of guides and video about that, so even a casu with a well conected brain can be "enjoyable".
Most important it's like you say, about randoms...
Bardin Slayer 80% are quitter, ♥♥♥♥ talker and egocentric. love to quit when died.
Kerli whatever job : mostly fresh player from other difficulty, only 50% toxic
other class is so so, most of them just tend to be silent.
I'd give it a 90%, ironbreaker bardin's tho tend to stay till the end, Kerillians are often extremely unaware of friendly fire and specially way stalkers tend to blame you for "been in the way", specially on the way stalker.
legend is hard, you need experience and good equipment and know about strategies and how to play each character and with each character and books locations
just play normally and try to learn
Lately, for some reason, I've joined way too many people just speedrunning and ignoring all pick up items.
