Zealot gameplay in a nutshell

Surprised more people don't play this guy. He's quickly becoming my favorite Saltzpyre career, especially since the flail raises a giant middle finger to those obnoxious stormvermin shields.

(Although, I can't decide which ranged weapon works best with him. Crossbow does too little damage to be a reliable special sniper, repeater crossbow takes too long to load and runs out of ammo fast, and brace of pistols is brace of pistols.(

xBow + Scrounger for zealot, his best anti special weapon and not too shabby for bosses.

Tankiest of Saltz only not picked as often because people rather be pew pewing

He was abusing the barrage bug (tempHP on every melee attack regardless of ult) on zealot so he is probably a bad zealot player. Make sure to kick those repent as soon as you recognize them.

i would play him more but tbh i think i just suck with him seeing how i cant pull of a last man standing clutch with him yet.

i pref pistols as sidearm. quickshots and can do 3 shots while xbow do one. Considering how rare you use your ranged - it quickly becopme weapon of choicce on zealot.

But, if you need to shoot more on a map - go xbow. with zealot passive it have 30% crit chance on zoomed attacks so let you be always with ammo.

But also keep in mind that i pref zealotwith GS, so i can stagger CW, while flail cant, so you probably need xbow for that aswell.

Anyway - have fun ^^ zea is nuts and do nuts things with enemies.

With 20% power vs armor and 20% power vs skaven, you can one shot stormvermin and all skaven specials except for packmasters. Just gotta get Fiery Feith to proc once (lose 25 hp)

BoP are actually pretty good as well if you use a 20% crit chance build and scrounger. They're especially good against bosses if you fight one next to an ammo box. They can also delete patrols when used with a stronk pot.

Not to mention, using BoP with Zealot's ult (and/or a speed pot) makes Saltz the fastest gun in the west.

Agreed, I think the most fun I've had was drinking a spd pot and ulting at an ammo crate and engaging turret mode.

I tried him when I played for frames, but he's just a demo version of slayer, no damage, high ult cd ( you can't ult 4-5 times during hordes ), funny passive, but WHC for me the best.

if you use Resouceful Combatant then his ult is almost charged after getting temp health off a horde

Bounty Hunter can pump out some serious damage, especially against bosses, but I never complain when a Zealot is on my team. Always useful.
