It's like this because if you, after playing with other randoms, continue doing QP with the same party and there's at least one person that has a DLC from the group, the QP will add those maps to the pool so you may play it.

I was under the impression that without purchasing you could not play unlike Burgerhaven

The content is there, like Nelo says, because you can still play the maps if someone in your lobby owns them.

You can play while joining friend lobby who owns DLC

Also you would need to ahve the models and skins for the new weapons as well in case someone with those wepaon joins you in any other map

The Back to Ubersreik levels cannot be played for free through Quickplay or by joining a game in the lobby browser, unless you own the DLC or join a friend who does.

I guess it means that server browser will not allow you to join people with DLC map. Only option will be joining by steam option "join a game" to somebody from your friends list.

OOF. I have to pay $10 or know someone who has $10 dollars in order to play the maps? Sorry fatshark you have gone too far, I mean really, do you know ANYONE who has $10? As a fly, I only earn about 10c a day scrounging through the bins for meat scraps and I simply cannot afford this, do you know how much meat I could get for $10? And how many offsrping I could raise? smh

Aksi truth is that everything was in DLC description and patch notes. So if you did not own previous DLC get ready, since it will work now same way as BTU. You have to own it to play or join friend who has it.

I understand that you enjoy boot licking for your big daddy hedge but I for one will not support the recycling of previously sold content.

Not to mention that you will need the new models/textures for new weapons, even if you can't use them. Not doing it this way would mean that there has to be a separate version of the game for each DLC or that you can just never play with anyone who has the new weapons. Besdides, $10 is not a lot. This is one of the most reasonably priced DLC in a long time for any game.

Well i agree that taking cash for old maps is kinda low. they could give them for free and do paid DLC with new ones. But i did not play vermintide 1 so hell, those are like new ones to me and its only 10$.

This is not just adding maps from the first game. I have read that they have been worked into the ongoing narrative of the story. Like the name says, it's RETURN to Ubersriek, not "here's 3 old maps for no reason."
