Ooh, over 100 hours, and I'm already starting to tire of some missions after 40 hours.

Level ~50hrs, Favorite Red gear ~500, All the Reds ~1000

I'm in the process of doing this now. It feels like a long time so I'm keeping it fresh playing all the sub classes and random weapons. Seems like half a level (AVG) per veteran run on the early teens and same for champion runs in late teens/early twenties. Maps seem to take around half an hour (approximately) That's roughly 1 level per hour if you're not getting wiped and playing on challenging difficulties.

The time flies by when you having fun though and the random progression gives you that carrot for continued play, as needed, non random would reduce the longevity of game. Which is something people want until they get it and then complain about it being too easy. The current red crafting is nice balance.

Multiple red skins become the eventual end of progression but if you get that far it should just be for enjoying the game otherwise some real completionist OCD.

you can also enjoy one or two characters and leave the others for a double-xp weekend to level up.

I think I leveled all mine up in about 150 hours. It's not that accurate though since some characters were 30+10 or 30+2 by the time I had the others to 30. More importantly though I remember it taking about 70 hours to get to 300 power items.
