Social wheel — how does it look to other players?

I'm newbie here.
I've got used to use social wheel to connect with other players since L4D. That's very useful. Exceptionally useful since in WH:V2 there is no textual chat.

But I don't know how my commands or answers look or sound like to other players. There is no feedback, so I don't know if my hero say it or what. And I don't see other players do some.

How does it look?

It types into the chat exactly the same as you see it appear in chat. There is both in-game voice options and a full chat box in vermintide.

Edit: I don't know what options are available for console versions.

On consoles we have two different social wheels. One for the inn and one when in a mission. Whenever you select something we show the icon above the player who said its' head. We also have context sensitive actions for bots/players like pick up ammo/health/grims or tomes. You can also tell a player to drop books by activating the social wheel while focusing on the player. It was created to enable comminication between console players

Also, how can one access chatbox here? I press "Y" but it's only highlight the window of chatbox without typing possibility.

(Maybe it would be useful to show a social-wheel commands on portraits of respective character? It would be useful to interact in a fight or in other situation you are not guaranteed to see all other characters at the moment)
