haha i expect as much, but we should all be fighting rats and not the controls wouldn't we all agree? The easier it is for us to translate what we want our characters to do (light attack/heavy attack/dodge/etc) the more fluid and responsive the game would be imho..
I get you, sometimes it happens to me as well, but only with very slow weapons( 2h hammer). Increasing attack speed usually helps for me.
P.S you won't improve the game by adding heavy button or combo for it, instead of 2 buttons we will spam 3, any difference?
A game should never be more difficult because of difficult controls that only frustrates players. The more options you have for button loadouts and assignments the better it is for everyone, YOU don't have to use it but giving others the ability to map one of their keys to heavy attack makes the game nicer to play not worse.
We don't need an iButton(tm), a single button that replaces block/light/heavy/dodge all in one button, just pressed at different delays and double/tripple clicks thats what I mean by fighting the controls and is a case simplicity making things more difficult.
Generally speaking, you really want a dedicated button mapped to each *major* in game control, for smoother gameplay. I'd say give the players the option to do so but it doesnt have to be set by default if you prefer to long-press-release
but yeah you could make a script for it, it just shows that players are going to play how they want : )
Now I understand you cannot get into the nest with BH...
