>>> ( HEAVY ATTACK ) <<< button
we need a button that can be mapped to heavy attack as right now the mechanic can be a little clunky especially in the heat of battle. Holding and releasing for heavy attack isn't the most efficient as you will always be holding for longer than the skill is ready, and in the heat of battle it's very easy to release a bit too soon resulting in a normal swing instead of heavy.

We can improve the gameplay quite a bit by either adding a dedicated heavy attack button (most mice have 5+ buttons available to use anyway) or allowing us to press a button + left click to activate heavy attack

(i.e. shift + left click = heavy attack)

haha i expect as much, but we should all be fighting rats and not the controls wouldn't we all agree? The easier it is for us to translate what we want our characters to do (light attack/heavy attack/dodge/etc) the more fluid and responsive the game would be imho..

I get you, sometimes it happens to me as well, but only with very slow weapons( 2h hammer). Increasing attack speed usually helps for me.
It's a matter of practice and experience. I find it is very rare that I use a normal attack instead of a heavy one. And even if I do, it isn't very impactful. There is no need to shift the burden onto the game for this one, I'd consider it an aspect of skill.

Don't be lazy @ss and make a script at least if you really need this option, play with sleep() and you will make it.
P.S you won't improve the game by adding heavy button or combo for it, instead of 2 buttons we will spam 3, any difference?

A game should never be more difficult because of difficult controls that only frustrates players. The more options you have for button loadouts and assignments the better it is for everyone, YOU don't have to use it but giving others the ability to map one of their keys to heavy attack makes the game nicer to play not worse.

We don't need an iButton(tm), a single button that replaces block/light/heavy/dodge all in one button, just pressed at different delays and double/tripple clicks thats what I mean by fighting the controls and is a case simplicity making things more difficult.

Generally speaking, you really want a dedicated button mapped to each *major* in game control, for smoother gameplay. I'd say give the players the option to do so but it doesnt have to be set by default if you prefer to long-press-release

but yeah you could make a script for it, it just shows that players are going to play how they want : )

difficult controls lol

Honestly additional controls would actually make it harder. Heavy attacks are supposed to be awkward to use, especially on heavy weapons like 2handers.

I've been asking for this since the first game. It'll never happen, and the devs said as much during the beta period for this game. Click and hold is an awkward, imprecise input, but people will, as the first reply said, just screech "GIT GUD."

and tell me how will u manage 10% items-weapons speed attack. 15% some characters have 5% talent or 35% total with SS. now add zealot ult. speed or better combine all of that with speed pot ^^

How I would love to have Attack, Block, Action, Dodge, Weapon Switch, Ping and Alt-Attack all on the mouse. Alas I can only have the first 5. Would honestly pay £300 for a mouse with side-buttons that could actually be held in.

"difficult controls that only frustrates players" facepalm

Now I understand you cannot get into the nest with BH...

The ♥♥♥♥ are we coming to when holding a button for literal milliseconds is considered difficult lolol

Remember you don't need to hold it the entire time for 'full charge' as in most games. The instant you start charging it, it's considered a charged strike.
