Questions about cheating/trainers

I know how the community feels about cheating, so before that bandwagon spouts off, NO I do NOT plan to use any trainer. I'm just asking if there is an official policy with using cheats with V2?
I understand the game uses EAC, but it seems there's also a trainer or two out there to circumvent this for solo play at least.
I don't have any intention on cheating, I'm legitimately just curious.
Is it okay to use a trainer solo, level up, and then re-enable EAC and play online without said trainer?

You can check my profile and see that I have like 1 achievement and barely any time logged so again, I'm just curious.

People cheating themselves items and stats and joining legitimate games DOES affect everyone involved. Have you ever asked yourself why Diablo 3 didn't admit cheaters? Back when it had no PvP and it was purely co-op with friends? No? Do that. Maybe you will get it. Doubtfull as it is. You have proven your dishonesty here many times.

If you went back and carefully read again my posts, you would maybe notice what you said is completely wrong. But I think there is no point in you doing that either. Just keep thinking you understand and nod to yourself.

If you can't grasp the simple concepts, then you're as bad with reading comprehension as you accuse others to be. If it's so damn hard for you to see that you behaved in a hypocritical way that delves deeply into condescension then you are either stupid or willfully ignorant of the hard facts.

Beyond that though, it's pretty obvious what your illogical motives are. In addition, it's obvious to multiple here as there are several who have pointed out your immature, condescending, and belligerent attitude. Deny that all you want but it's a fact and you know it. I won't be engaging you any more. Feel free to respond with the expected condescension, immaturity, hostility, or hypocrisy....or don't, because you can't really do anything to dig yourself out of the hole you willingly threw yourself in. I carw about things with negative consequences. Most cheating in public games has negative consequences. I'd argue getting free items has relatively small consequences to other players, and god mode cheats have large consequences. I think cheating for items should only result in losing the items and temp bans. God mode cheats could result in perma bans, but I don't trust EAC to not have false positives so it should require review.

I think cheating bans should require reports, because if no one cares then its not a problem. Cheating prevention should work as is until we get dedicated servers, even though EAC I think will occasionally lock people out or cause other problems.

I like anyone else think cheating is bad. I just disagree about how bad it is. For a multiplayer game its worse, but I think in a coop game its about on par with toxicity which requires a good amount to get banned.

I haven't played with anyone obviously cheating and I think very few people have gotten banned, so all in all this is a place where I think I would say FS is doing a good enough job. But thats just my perspective and others might be playing with obvious cheaters or be getting locked out by anti cheat for no reason.

See my point exactly. Point out why my argument is deluded or its just a blank statement. I'm pretty much just trolling you at this point since you obviously don't care about convincing me of anything, so why should I care about convincing you of anything. If you could show you eant to have an actual conversation I'd probably post more seriously, but my posts might as well be delusional because I'm not really trying anymore.

Other than the everybody is a dishonest cheater thing, you're not even arguing anything I disagree with other than the severity of your dislike for cheaters. You're ignoring my argument that you suck at arguing, which isn't an argument I care about winning anyways. Why should I actually try hard here, I'm putting in the same effort you are.

From the responses in the thread though, more people think you're delusional than I am. If I'm delusional as you say, thats pretty sad. Get 1 person to say "that guy is making some good points" and I'll concede maybe you're right. I've seen multiple in the other direction.

To my knowledge, I haven't played with anyone who has cheated. I haven't seen anyone do anything obviously cheating ever, not even anything suspicious. It has also been some time since I have heard people actively complain about cheaters.

All cheats should be punishable, as I said earlier. I agree that not all cheating is noticeable by people around the cheater or even harmful to other people, which was my original point. At that point, if there's someone in my public game and the only thing they have cheated with is give themself a red rarity weapon, then I have no way of knowing unless they randomly admit it or get banned in front of me. And even then, if they weren't doing anything to actively tamper with my gameplay then I'm really not going to care. That's for EAC to sort out. But even if I don't really care that they cheated and it doesn't have a real impact on my gameplay, I would never be opposed to them being punished for it, whatever the cheat was.

Yeah I'd agree with that, but I think the punishment should be small (and obviously include them losing the items), maybe then large for repeat offenders. A person using unearned reds is more pleasant to play with than a toxic player, so I don't see why they should get a worse punishment.

Best thing would be to prevent it from happening in the first place. Which is most or what EAC does. But overall thats a harder challenge.

A couple weeks ago i joined a game with a cheater. His cheat enabled god mode for every player in the game. The guy was so overconfident that he was miles ahead of the rest of the team the entire match. A sneak rat pounced him for 5 minutes straight while the rest of the team caught up. He ended the game with 100k+ damage taken. It was a funny legend game. I made fun of him at end screen and gtfo.
