[BUG] Random instant death
I was in Festering Ground as WHC, I went under the little rope bridge to check for supplies and came back up and just ♥♥♥♥ing died. Full hp, I just crumpled over and died.

Something that may be important: I noticed there was a Stormvermin weapon at that exact location jutting out of the ground. Maybe this bug has something to do with that? Maybe the weapon was being actively swung when the SV died and it was still flagged for combat collisions?

Coincidentally the Elf died in the exact same spot. A Hookrat grabbed the Elf and dragged it back over that spot and the Elf died, just to the right of the little indoor rope bridge.

I don't know but this is the epitome of anti-fun. No counterplay at all. Immediately after this happened the Director took a giant ♥♥♥♥ on the group by spawning a horde, aggroing 3 Chaos Warriors, spawning a Rat Ogre, and spawning a Fire Rat, Gun Rat and Assassin.

What the hell? Does Director possess an instant death ability for debug that got left in?

Did you flat-out die? Or did you go into a downed state?

well theres still a bug that was supposedly patched but i still see it very rarely, it's that fall damage ♥♥♥♥♥ up or smth and any fall you have you just fall over and die.

Found your problem, you we're playing whc. You died from a style overload. This frequently happens to me when I play him as well.

More seriously however, I haven't seen anyone straight die from walking usually from falling a short distance is what does it maybe they are related.

It's happened to me twice, both on level ground. One was while passing through a doorway if that helps.

This has been happening alot to me the last couple days. Always small falls that shouldn't deal any damage, but instead instantly kill me, even from full health.

This is still a thing. Just had it happen to me when I jumped down from a ledge in the sewers in Convocation of Decay.

This happened to me twice while playing WHC several months ago. Could never reproduce it after the two times.

Cool, but this has been happening forever. Yesterday one of my teammates died out of blue. Too bad he was carrying a grim, too.

Except that we know this isn't going to do anything.
We know this is a latency/lag issue which lets the host believe that the player went further than the ground "technically" going below ground level from the host's perspection and letting the character come in contact with a kill box.

This isn't going to get fixed since there are only a few options:
- Check ALL kill boxes and move those that are too close to the surface.
- Improving the connection on p2p basis by including a stopper that prevents false host decision in case of a lag spike.
- Introducing dedicated servers.

From all we know, the first option - which means another 20gb map update - is the most likely, which is kind of sad.

There's also an instant death spot on Into the Nest:
After the white room (or wipe room as some call it) into the nest has another big room, on the drop (or checkpoint) at the end of this big room there's a chance that when you drop down you instantly die regardless of your HP, if you are wounded or not. It has happened to me twice in the 350~ hours of play.

It happend to me in convoction of decay right at the start, near the cells when i walked over skaven hole
