You'll probably get better answers than this, but try out the Swift Bow with damage vs chaos and damage vs monsters and Barrage.Pretty fun

Use the hagbane.
I second this as well. But be aware of your friendly fire as your teammates will be pretty salty if you repeatedly poison them.It is her strongest/most versatile ranged option I would say.

Never post a score screen to prove a point, it totally lacks any kind of context.

Use the hagbane.

All I see is slayer still had top melee kills. As it should be.

Still though, talk about being carried by the elf. I mean...sure I maybe it didn’t go down like that. But it’s fairly convincing.

Longbow / Glaive. Your main job is to take out specials and elites long before they're a threat and Longbow headshots do just that. You can swap to Hagbane if your team lacks boss damage; pop a strength pot and you'll melt bosses with just left click spam. The swift bow is a troll weapon for people who like green circles more than contributing to a team. As for melee, the Glaive is the most versatile and well-rounded of the elf's weapons. Just pushing and left clicking destroys ambushes and the first two heavy attacks destroy armor. Sword & Dagger is a good substitute; pair it with the cooldown-on-crit trait so you can spam more volley and make up for the loss of armor damage. All the other melee elf weapons safe for the Dual Daggers are varying degrees of trash (DD is excellent on Shade, not so much on Waystalker but it can work with a Hagbane for hordes).

For traits, I use 5% crit, bonus damage on headshots, ammo regen, health on kill and cooldown reduction on volley. Traits are Swift Slaying on Glaive (cooldown reduction on Sword & Dagger), ammo on headshots for the Longbow and 30% increased healing, 25% to not use a grenade and 50% potion duration on the trinkets.

Always remember to spin around like a beyblade before you start picking off enemies with the Longbow. The most common Waystalker deaths are to a few mobs sneaking behind you and deleting you. If you're at or lower than 50% life, great many things can oneshot you. Other than thatk, just practise Longbow headshots and you'll be the carry of any Legend team.

Hagbane and Dual Daggers. It will take some time to master but it has the biggest potential for the elf.

Sorry for making some self advertisement, but you can find my build at the end of this guide I created :)

Really great guide i agree with just about everything but with a few little preferences, very solid builds.

Well, that was more of an example of what you could do as a hagbane WS, but player skill is still paramount to overall team performance. Notice the damage taken. That was despite the fact that the elf is a miniscule portion of my playtime. I did my job appropriately, melting hordes and bosses, using TF volley at the right moments to kill specials or replenish ammo to continue firing. I also am not an idiot and do not fire blindly into teammates, so that's another plus for anyone who had to put up with me during that completion period.

the focus is on an ult spam. good against specials and crowd. CW is a bit of a trouble... though if you manage to land ult right at its face its almost dead. light meele atacks on its head works too if you get lucky with crits.

Holy .... Pls dude, DON'T USE GLAIVE, unless you reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeealy need this weapon, it has 2 stamina, useless dps and attack speed, don't be dat WS who will die with every single horde from behind or something like this, New WS? - use spear or dual swords don't use glaive just because people still can't understand that glaive sucks, most legend situation when I played not an elf - elf did something good, time for horde - elf's dead since you swing with the same speed of war pick ( dwaf's weapon ) slow, can't handle with a horde unless you are a slayer, so DON'T USE GLAIVE, GLAIVE'S TIME IS OVER, Dual daggers>>glaive, better speed, better dps, better speed to kill single cw comparing with glaive, CDR build on WS = almost no CD during horde as a WS, no problem with dodges since it's not a glaive.
I played about 63 as Merc and 103 as a Slayer, glaive supposed to be something like halberd (Kruber's weapon ) and greataxe (Bardin's one ), so:
1) Comparing with halberd - 2 stamina vs 3, poor cleave vs GOODLIKE horde potential, poor crits vs average/high ( since merc has 20% crit chance ), so s#cks vs halberd.
2) Comparing with greataxe - everything is similiar, damage per hit slightly better if you have greataxe + u don't have to CHARGE to have this damage, but greataxe have a GREAT PLUS - stun with every charged attack vs everything ( sometimes not working vs CW if he starting to hit you before you charge your attack ). So almost the same, but again - s#cks vs greataxe.
Just don't use a glaive, don't die since you don't have anything to escape if they corner you or 2-3 hits from behind and the end for you.
P.S. You are not a slayer or Merc, you don't HAVE TO to kill every CW in the game, it's not your role as a range class, I guess it's only reason why people still using glaive - lack of armor penetration, since glaive don't have crowd control at all.
P.S. 350 hours elf main and YES, I used glaive as WS and HM, it s#cks since on legend you MUST SURVIVE with your melee vs pat or horde and MUST HAVE CROWD CONTROL weapon to ez peezy legend, don't write that hagbane can handle with whole horde, what about horde + 2 assasin 1 lich and globadier from somewhere - you supposed to kill SPECIALS as a WS, remember it.

I must say i find your post really hard to comprehend, the glaive is one of the best crowd control weapons in the game.

Quantum Charlie has a good guide he just put up on youtube.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fK8jgUjS0lw

He leaves out the push stab of the glave but everything else is spot on, his other guides are really good as well.
