fake news
It really is kinda just a honey pot that sounds far better on paper than it is in practice.
When you first read it you go "ok, this doesn't sound bad, you get regen over time and you aren't using the team's resources, sounds great!".
Then you try it and find out that it heals extremely slow, heals for very little and blocks healing.
It needs either a buff to healing speed, buff to overall heal or the removal of the "can't heal" bs for it to be worth anyone's time.
Kerillian: I've seen it on Waystalker, probably alright. The other two, no.
Bardin: Absolutely never on Slayer, definitely playable on Ironbreaker though.
Kruber: Just no
Sienna: Only if you are desperate, but also good.
Some guy goes down, no big deal. Throw him a health pot-
"Can't heal myself."
Thanks, paperweight.
3 people are carrying tomes anyway, so it's not necessary for everyone to have 25% chance to not consume healing items or whatever. Even on legend I've never had a run where we didn't find a mix of draughts and kits and it really doesn't make a difference to me if I heal bardin with the kit and then drink the draught.
Sure, if your party is so dumb that they burn the medkits and save the draughts for later, maybe running the regen trait isn't a great idea.
I don't play Saltzpyre but he seems a squishy sort so I'll agree with you on this.
It's very passable for Kerillian on Waystalker and Handmaiden careers (provided you're actually decent at melee that is, but this is applicable to every career with a melee focus). Not good on Shade unless you play more defensively hiding behind your tank on hordes, or are carrying a weapon that's good at protecting yourself from hordes.
Works quite will for Ironbreaker, probably not on Slayer.
Should be good for Foot Knight for the same reason as Ironbreaker, and maybe on Mercenary, but yeah, no to Huntsman.
Agreed on Sienna with one caveat: Unchained. Quite good on her if you're really good at managing her heat. Pretty much makes it so you'll only ever die from mismanaging your heat, and makes you feel better about venting with green health. Most definitely not for everyone, but neither is Unchained in general, so... yeah.
Nature's Bond is a tricky one in that if you're really good at staying alive, it's good on EVERY career, but if you're only average, it's a trap that will just get you killed. Because of this, it's definitely better on the tankier, more survivable classes like Foot Knight, Ironbreaker, Handmaiden and Unchained, and definitely worse on the squishier more dangerous classes like Slayer, Zealot and Shade. It can still work very well on Slayer, Zealot and Shade if you're really good at surviving with them or are well protected with your team, and can still be very bad for the tankier classes if you're flat out bad at melee, and even if you're good mistakes can happen that will get you killed... it's just very difficult to properly analyze and say whether or not its worth it. It just... is for some people, and isn't for a lot of people.
