Crafting red items?

Can it be done or is only emperor chests the way to get them?

Ps I’ve never ever gotten an emperor chest :(

I think red items can only drop from Champ/Legend difficulty chests

Can't craft, and can't get from Commendation chests, and you need ~250+ power level first

You can't craft red items. Once you start finding items near Power 250-300 is about the time you will start finding red items.

Good luck! It's both a boon and curse to get a red item. Because once you roll your desired properties and trait, you have the perfect weapon. Nothing left to grind or upgrade for that weapon. Which can be a bit of a turn off for people who play purely for the loot improvements.

So, do reds gave fixed power or it can vary from 250 to 300? I'm close to 250 item power and I wonder if I want to grind it up to 300 before trying to roll reds

They are ALWAYS 300 power. And any property is automatically maxed. So you won't see +3.6% attack speed, you'd see +5.0% always, for example.

im at 300 (item level) and i havent seen any yet so there not exactly common

Just what I wanted. I get it as they dont count to highest equiped power level for other loot, right? Are there also red trinkets and can they be rerolled?

There is always DLCs and legend difficulty, and showing off your virtual flesh banana for actually having a red, so i think i can entertain myself with this game for a while even if i get one. Really hope i either get a volley xbow or a trinket...

You can build up all 3 other characters, then work on optimal red weapon for each subclass of each character so that's up to 12 sets of gear/traits.
