So I can get the main screen up within the game after the intro movie but errors out when I try to start the main game with this error.... any suiggestions?

Hi. Have you tried to change hero in main menu and then hitting play button? See if it works.

Well, the problem, I think, is that the error codes and symbols are not the same / available for the Windows OS. I've noticed during the beta that the symbols library was included with the game, but whenever I tried to load the library using Windbg it still couldn't read it. But maybe thats my problem...keeps saying ntdll isn't the right type for it.

Its pretty much impossible to tell without the symbols library. What I would do instead is navigate to C:\users\%username%\appdata\roaming\fatshark\vermintide 2\console and review the console log to see what its doing.

i actually did praise Sigmar when i switched characters! I think thats what did it.

for 0xc0000005, this worked for my friend and I, tested several ways- switch to skype and turn off the ingame mic

If it's on, someone crashes. If it's not, we can play for hours.

This is exactly what my friend run into.
On my side all was fine
On his side constant crashes
Until we both disable ingame voice chat
