None of those mean anything, is the issue.
People seem to be confused about what a violation of privacy is.
All of this EAC nonsense is news to me. I had no idea it was randomly uploading screenshots of my ingame fullscreen gameplay and my desktop.
But at the same time, innocent people dont run. They have nothing to hide.
I dont cheat. I dont care.
Unless an EAC screenshot from me happens to be 30+ Firefox tabs of e 621 Furry porn.
Then its on them. Not me.
Hope you like reptiles <3
You know that made me laugh cheers for that XD
Only 30? Pffft~
Need to have a dozen SFMs going and a stuffed HDD making noises no HDD should make.
I was reading reports of what players who installed this service says it does. It also says that it does this itself within its own TOS.
A right to not have your usage of your property recorded by a third party, and then posted online for all to see?
You just said it was secured,
but as you can see these can become publicly posted?
I'll give everyone a hint about EAC and just anti-cheats in general. Cheaters / Hackers will always win no matter what anti-cheats do. There will always be a way around anything they implement. So EAC taking screenshots of your computer is a just a privacy issue in the end as cheaters have found a way to bypass that too. What stops them from taking screenshots of you tabbed out of your game watching movies, porn, or working from home on a secret project for NASA or a EAC rival, completely nothing. So yeah if you don't make a stand for your privacy and stop anti-cheats from becoming completely invasive on your PC when will you? Maybe a next feature they will add will be webcam recordings to make sure you are not wearing a anonymous face mask.
