Offline mode?

I cannot fathom why a game like this would be forced online. It doesn't make any sense.

Sadly, now that EAC is in the game, the chances of an offline mode where progression is saved is null and void. RIP the dream.

I don't care about cheaters, I just want an offline mode that I can play when my internet acts up and I don't lose my loot and exp.

But... but I want to play when my internet goes down, which is almsot every day! You see, the drop bears attack the towers, attempting to cut any and all outside communciation. If I am to die because of an attack, I would like my stats saved so they can be presented at my funeral.

It's 2K18, that's why No Logic for the developpers, just Money and Consumption! Internet for all, a joke. I don't buy the game because the game doesn't have offline mode. No private server LAN, no mods, no fan patch...where is the time of Jedi Academy/Outcast? And no apologize for the "data on server"... L4D, Battlefront 2 (the new too), Hitman have offline features. Data is not a reason, it's a politic like Konami "DRM Consumption money"

If you want to buy periodical game, go buy all game. And say bye bye to your money in 10years. You're not a modder. You don't understand the real impact for the community of gamer. Take Ark, you can make everything. It's an online survival but with offline and mod with UE4. I don't want play uno, just video games like since 20 years. Pro evolution soccer 2018 need online? Why? i can't play football competition if I stop the internet box the night. L4D have bots offline, even Team Fortress, even CS Go (with expensive skin market and real money). no apologize for "data & cheaters" solution. Just money logic and no community logic. If you can talk about L4D, that's because the game is for the community (mods, offline, private server). But you accept this and you are a gamer who like to pay for an access to the game, not for the game.
