Remember that there are attacks in the game that drain all your stamina in one hit regardless of how much you have. Block cost reduction is the way to go, you can do far more with less stamina rather than waiting for it to fill back up. The only time I would recommend getting more stamina is if you only have 2 shields.
Remember there are pushes, and you should use those just as much if not more than jsut passively block attack, and block cost reduction does not really work there, which is why unless I am playing a litteral tank I would always go for stamina

Pushes are good, but keep in mind that this is not VT 1 with Impr.Pommel! I feel like it's best to block small amount of enemies, try to dodge(or Parry Tank hah!) big hits and push vs hordes(or, again, just Parry Tank).

As I said, Parry is horribly underrated.

Pushes are nowhere near as good in this game, especially with no devestating blow. Enemies such as beserkers and chaos warriors will just ignore your pushes and you will accomplish more with a stagger weapon. If you really want to push badly, stamina regeneration is the way to go.

Remember that "push stab" on some weapons are OP, for example, two axe with bardin, or halberd with kruber, lots of dmg versus chaos warrior and stormvermin, with these weapons you probably want more stamina.

You're right, and stamina regen helps too.
