Who are worth doing crit builds on?
And what to do with the others?

Mercenary, Pyromancer and Zealot from what I've seen. Stacking crit damage on ranged weapons with chance being optional for Bounty Hunter is pretty much the class meta as well.

Everyone who has a passive crit , or talent. But to be honest everyone benefits from it except bounty hunter as he has that standart crit, but even that shoulnt discourage you for going for more crits as they a really big damage amp especially after 1.0.5 . It depends though mostly on your play style if you want something more consistent i would suggest power vs x or else go for the crit.

DPS whose ultis really help their damage output. Waystalker, Shade, Pyro, Unchained (specific builds), Zealot, Slayer are nice candidates for Crit builds.

Depending on their ulti, either Swiftslaying or Resourceful combatant are my go-to orange traits. Swiftslaying if their ultis have low cooldowns (Shade, Slayer, Zealot), and Resourceful if the cooldown takes a while or has a specific utility (also Shade, Pyro, Unchained, Waystalker).

It takes a while but ideally you should find what works for you.

Basically everyone. Less so tanks - Ironbreaker, Foot Knight, Handmaiden - but everyone can use crits, especially when you have a mage who gets rid of overcharge on crits and shooters who regain ammunition on crits.

Everyone benefits from increased crit chance. Crit power is useless.

How is crit power useless? Shade is all about that, probably not the only one.

Not worth picking over other stats. It makes very little difference, almost none at all for some weapons (since it's based on the crit power of that specific weapon). Crits do enough damage already without wasting a property to increase that damage by a tiny amount.

Well I'm going to have to disagree, shade is much stronger with crit power.

That's fine by me. Put whatever you want on your items.
I usually min/max in every game, so I don't even consider crit power here.

Can you explain in more detail though? You speak as if you have concrete evidence that crit power gives very little increase. The amount of damage the backstab does on bosses with crit power compared to without feels pretty hefty, but I mean I have no numbers to work with outside of the dummies which are completely useless for anything except the basics of seeing how to hit the head with all of your swings.

Lets say that you crit for, uhm, 3400 damage (edit: I think that Huntsman's longbow can crit for more-or-less as much, but don't take my word for it). Add 20% to that. That turns your hit into a 4080 damage. If you crit consistently, that sounds like a pretty considerable damage bonus, although I doubt it matters on anything that is not a boss.

Hell yea, but you can get crit power on your charm as well so it'd be 40% extra.

This is how I figured it was, that is monstrous considering how much the F does.
