Vote Kick?
As a write this, we have a troll in my lobby and would like to kick them out of the game.

How to do so?

Press and hold Tab. This will show your party members. Under each party member's window, there will be a Vote Kick option. It was greyed out during the Closed Test (gods know why), and I cannot guarantee it is available now, in Beta.

Theres a downside to this though. Once you add vote to kick then players start using vote to kick to troll. Just add a report player option, but that also means someone has to moderate the reports.
I dont know if there currently is one, but Ive seen it used as a greifing tool (mostly by groups).

The vote kick is greyed out. Hope it works soon. It would be nice to have this option.

That sure did happen to me a few times in VT1, but that's the price of playing with random people. Personally I believe that playing with a fully random party is playing this game wrong.

Woah vicky, the game is only in beta and you are already starting with the elitist attitude.

Haha, I guess that is one way of looking at it. I prefer to think of it the other way; "I don't know these random guys, I don't know if they're okay or dumb, I don't know whether or not they can pull off some random ♥♥♥♥ or something great. Plus communicating with them is more ifficult than with my buds. I'd rather wait three minutes for my pal to show up on Discord and then play".

I suppose you can call it being an elitist, but I'm much more lenient than that.

Thats about the only way I can play. Try convincing people to buy a game is like convincing people to buy old Enron stocks. Not only that but other person I know irl that plays games is super casual "I only play Triple-A heavy advertised games". Then those games end up sucking and they never speak of them again.

Suggesting that a company with any kind of reporting system actually pays a bit of attention to it.

The way I found a bunch of dudes to play Vermintide with, back in VT1 days, was that I started out playing alone, and I just stumbled upon them. Met one guy from that group, we liked playing together, he introduced me to the group etc etc.

As for your friend, you can tell him that a random stranger on Steam is sad for his taste in games.

Just had someone join the game and go afk... couldn't do anything about it if we won he would have gotten a free ride, sick of no kick option
