Vermintide 2 Offline Play

One of my close friends is thinking about buying Vermintide and their internet connection is less than desireable( constant drops and 700+ ping) Is there any offline mode/way for them to play not connected to a server?

Nope. The game is (unfortunately) always online. If you can't connect to the server, you cannot play it.

And you dont think they will send the savefile you have to you when they go down?

You don't need a good connection to play games. I used to play on a wifi-stick which had 500kb/s in the best case LOL. And i played CSGO on it 80-120ms which was still playable.

If his internet is really THAT bad (200ms or higher) i'd suggest him getting an wifi-internet stick for video games.
