Ah yes, because console players have it so much better than us, what with their sub-30FPS, 60 FOV, months-late updates, constant crashes, and no mod support.
Why don't we ever get anything ;(
YOU HAVE 2000 HOURS PLAYED IN THIS GAME. GOOD LORD!
I'm not suggesting I would ever defect to playing any FPS on a console. That is the way of madness. But I don't think it is fair for Steam players to be denied a fairly common feature either. It's not like Achievements are not some new thing, and its not like the first game didn't have over 100 of them. Clearly there are people who like and enjoy them, and more players sticking with a game that depends on people coming back to survive is a good thing for the whole community, right?
In Summary: I'm neutral. I just want new skulls to crack :)
I can't be terribly bothered. For those who like having little goals, there are always the in-game Okri challenges.
Ok, do that again but this time use the cosmetic hats or portrait frames that drop in game instead of Achievements. What is the difference there? What is the time sink that keeps YOU coming back again and again? And does it make you feel good about the time you have invested?
I like to log in, play a little, maybe work towards an achievement, terrific. I get one or two and mission accomplished. I have a track of my progress and friends can see what I have done that day (and vice versa). I can play a different game or go outside and not feel like I've been sucked into a parasitic existence for a calendar work year of time invested.
Why does this game make its most hardcore players seemingly miserable?
How much work would it be to flip the switch and enable the same achievements that console versions already have?
Are cosmetic hats and costumes also pointless? You've played well over 1500 hours. That's over 37 work weeks in this game. Are you playing purely for the fun of it or are you chasing loot boxes? How is one person's preferred feature somehow less of a "point" than someone elses?
They added them to the console versions. And trust me, if Fatshark did things just because people complained, I would imagine you lot wouldn't be so darned bitter about the loot system and paid DLC all the time.
how about you create a compelling view point based on factual information as opposed to looking at an individuals profile page and twisting the information you find there to reflect your personal agenda?
that is why my "level 0 private troll profile" is set to friends only. it doesn't matter what is 'hidden' in there. the topic is the topic, not the individual.
get grown
thanks
lol well you aren't sounding bitter at ALL
brb getting some corn
I playing for fun and to improve myself in the game. Achievements does not improve they game in any aspect but for some minor people that just must collect stuff.
