Could you please post your log file, it should be in the folder “<steaminstallation>\steamapps\common\The Talos Principle VR\Log”. It is just a text file, so you can open it with any text editor. You can use Pastebin or any such service to post the log.
If I change to dx9, then hit apply on a lower RES, then go back into menu to change to resolution 3440x1440 it works ok, then change back to dx11 its ok too. Very odd that this is necessary to make it work.
So after I collected the first part, I decided to push it to 150%. The game crashed. I've wanted to start it again but it took very long. It was back to 100%. Now when I want to set it to 125% again, the game crashes.
I will try it with the dx9 change then dx11 like you say.
I think I've had exactly the same problem with Serious Sam 3VR. And I've also messed with Dx and it fixed it.
I dunno what's the deal with the TV output. I don't have a TV on my PC and I also don't have a second monitor. Only this 3840x2160 monitor @ 150% desktop scaling.
So yeah... I just quit the game to look for an answer, I will jump back in and see what I can do.
I'm stuck at 100% render scale. I don't want to play like this. :(
There's no in-game option to disable TV output, is there a fix for this?
