Free Stag Takeover Assist at beginning of game
Whenever I start a new game and get to Suandi's ex's house or whatever, the game notifiys me about all these dlcs and also gives me a free stag takeover assist. It didn't do this when I was playing the free weekend version, but after buying it, it does. Is this normally apart of the game?

Uncheck an unwanted DLC in the Install column.
There, you fixed it!

Yes if you bought the Unlockable DLC also. It gives you all the unlocks that you miss out on throughout the game by making a choice between two, right from the start of the game. This is the reason it wasn't included in the full package, because it's considered by most to be gamebreaking especially on a first playthrough.

It doesn't make any sense that there is no DLC manager in the main menu. I wouldn't have bought that particular DLC if I knew it's a cheat that cannot be switched off. What were they thinking? I found a counter-unlock patch but I'd rather remove that stuff or switch it off ingame.

You can ask Steam support to remove it and they will do.

Just make it clear that you know it will no longer be available and that you will not get a refund.

Note that any individual item bought as part of a pack or bundle cannot be removed on it's own, the entire pack would have to be removed. However since this Unlockable Pack isn't part of a package it's fine to be removed.

Oh, I thought steam support refuses to remove content from accounts even if you ask them. If that's possible I'll try that. How about the vampire dlc? That also forces something on you doesn't it?

i regret doing the stag takeover so much, it took away roughly 2 hours of fun.

They will remove content yes. I have had games removed myself.

The Bloodsucker pack is not so bad.

People's real complaints with that is you cannot disable the neck bite once it's activated and they prefer the neck snap (when you take a human shield). So if you don't mind having the neck bite animation (which refills health also) then there's no problem with the Bloodsucker Pack.

In addition to the neck bite it does also give the following permanent bonuses:

VIP Cash Boost Bonus (25% increase to all cash received)
VIP Hourly Income Bonus (Hourly City Income of $2,500)
VIP Respect Bonus (20% bonus to all Respect earned)
VIP Scavenger Bonus (Four times as much cash is dropped by people).

Personally I don't think this is so bad it does mean money isn't quite as scarce as normal though.

There is actually a mod for the bloodsucker pack, it comes in 3 flavours:

One that just removes the neck bite and restores the neck snap (leaving bonuses intact)
One that restores the neck snap and also removes the bonuses
One that restores the neck snap and makes the bonuses purchasable upgrades in-game.

I usually just use it on the airfield to get the hangar. Yes it saves me I think $50,000 and gives me access to plane storage from the start but it doesn't auto complete anything else.

You can just uninstall the Unlockables DLC.
To do that right click on the game's name in your library, go to properties, then DLC tab.
Uncheck an unwanted DLC in the Install column.
There, you fixed it!
