Apocalypse Genki// Genki Bowl dlc horrible glitch on new rig

Long story short, I bought saints row 3 and all dlc's and did some main missions, then proceeded to do the Apocalypse Genki Bowl activity, but when the activity starts, im underneath the map, complete darkness, in a never ending free fall. I can see trees and buildings when I look upwards from underneath the map.

Is there a fix for this, I tried every freaking thing and nothing seems to help, even went as far as underclocking my gpu (even though it's not a hardware issue). No matter if I restart the game same thing every time.
