Custom Outfits disappearing

I started playing Saints Row this weekend and have run into a weird problem: My custom-designed outfits keep disappearing after saving and reloading a game. Seemingly at random some DO stay saved - but the bug takes all the fun out of player customisation.

It seems to be a rather uncommon problem; at least I could not find anything by googling. Anybody out there having similar issues with the game? I am running the "Full Package" version on a Windows 8 system. Any ideas how to circumvent this are welcome =)

I've only just noticed this earlier today and I have been playing this game for almost thirty hours now. From a very quick browse through Google it seems that this is a known bug/issue.

It's quite inconvenient but not that much of an issue. It just means that some outfits won't save and you have to put on each individual clothing items instead of just one-click dress up.

Some said that it's something to do with DLC's...but I haven't found a definite cause of this bug yet.

I think it rectified itself when I was a few missions in. New outfits do stay saved now, at least as far as I can see. I had DLCs installed, so this might have been a cause.
