Saints Row 3 no longer in my Steam library
Title says it all. I went to install Saints Row Three after not playing it for a few months and I discover it's no longer in my library. I opened a petition about this but I have yet to receive a response back from Valve.

Has this ever occured to anyone here and, if so, what were your solutions? Thank you for reading this.

Well I was going to suggest you had your library set to only show installed games, but after inspecting yours I could not find it myself. I'm afraid to say that there isn't much anyone can do without actual proof of purchase. Don't take this the wrong way, but for all we know you might just be trying to score a free game.

No, no offence taken. Had a sift through my email and luckily I kept the email of proof of purchase. I've even used the same CD key and I was redirected to my account, so clearly it's there, somwhere.

I appreciate the response though. Going to update my petition about the CD key actually, because I thought I had deleted the receipt in my email address.

A support ticket is really all you can do at this point. Give Valve some time and they will get back with you but it does take some time.

Did you by chance have it installed during the free Saints Row: The Third free weekend? A friend of mine had the same problem he installed it during the free weekend and liked it so he paid for it but it was gone after the weekend. He open a support ticket and after a few days they did fix it for him. It was just a mess up with his account on Valves end that caused it get removed even though he paid for it during the free weekend.

I did have it installed during the free weekend, I think, but I had it installed before then. Thanks anyway man. I'm just checking to see if anyone else had resolved the issue without the need of a petition, but the Steam forums have been down for days and my petition just as long.

What petition? Just submit a support ticket to Valve. At this point they are the only ones that can help you with your issue. The support fumction is up and working.

Thanks for the suggestion bane! Tried your suggestion, and with zero luck unfortunately. Thank you though.

Still no response from the fine people at Steam Support.

Support got back to me. They told, "Your CD Key for this game has been revoked at the request of the publisher, THQ."

Jeeze. Well, that solves that mystery anyway. Thank you lads for your help!

I'm not going to sue them, especially when I live in Ireland. I'm going to place the full message here for those who have the same problem.

"Hello Alexander,

Thank you for contacting Steam Support.

We apologize for the delay.

Your CD Key for this game has been revoked at the request of the publisher, THQ.

You will need to contact the seller for further assistance.

Please follow the link below for information about Saints Row: The Third and THQ:

Title: Saints Row: The Third
Link: http://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=5684-ETAV-5543

There is also a link to THQ support at that address if you would like to get in touch with the publisher.

If you have any further questions, please let us know."

The seller I used has horrible almost non-existant customer service, and I left a forum message on THQs website days ago with zero response. Felt like I wasn't going to achieve anything and, with less than 24 hours left on the THQ Humble Bundle, bit the bullet and bought it again.

Best of luck to those who have the same problem!

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, this whole story is insane.

Well it sounds as if you bought the key from some shady seller that didn't have the right to sell the key in the first place :/
