Can't do main missions

I only get millions of activites, and i cant do main missions, need some help.

what exactly is the problem?
a) i can't find a way to start the main missions
b) i don't know how to access my cell phone
c) the game is crashing when i'm trying to start a mission

The problem is basically: I have only Angel, Kinzie and Zimos in my mission contacts and whenever i try to start a mission, the "mission" is always just an activity like escort and such. I think it might be part of the game but thats WAY too many activities though.

usually you're starting a mission by accessing your cell phone and activities by entering their symbols on your map.

there's a dedicated menu on your phone for the missions. DLC missions will show up there as well and they're showing up again and again - because they're repeatable.

calling a gang member from your contracts menu doesn't start a mission - unless you're told to do so.

I know, but i keep getting activities to unlock on my phone. I've got like millions of em, to the point of them being nearly everywhere and i cant get missions on the phone.

It sounds like you're still in the beginning part where the misions are just introducing you to the activities, there isn't too many of those so just stick with it and you'll get back to the storyline missions.
