Convoy Decoy broken?

I have to clear the road block on the bridge, which I do and then aircraft spawn in to attack ME, and also ground units hurl themselves at the 4 stationary purple gang vehicles that don't move, so to blow these up, I also have to blow up my own guys which makes an auto fail. How to do?

If you mean the TANK mission. I use a chopper with lock on. Destroy all the tanks then the trucks. Yes choppers come take them down.
