Sad Panda Skyblazing (need help)

God, I have no idea how to beat this minigame, its freakin' difficult for me, I can't even comprehend this kinda crap. Is there even any sure way of beating it, the hoops give you 100 each so i get like 3100/10000 by the end of the level and I get annoyed because I have to restart it, and I can never reach the flying heads either, so this bugs me. Could use some help.

You have to land on the rooftops and kill as many mascots as possible with the chainsaw. Then run towards a cannon on the roof (there is usually one at each corner) to be launched back into the air and continue flying through the rings.

Landing on a Tiger balloon is ethical, and a Panda balloon is unethical. BUT: landing on a Panda balloon can provide a huge vertical (directly upwards) boost, so it may be worth it taking an Unethical hit to achieve some additional altitude. Hitting a Panda balloon was actually the only way I was able to land on the second (or was it the third?) rooftop.
