glitched new save file (late game spoilers)

so i started another game on my sr3. I also have a couple previous saves where i completed it before. on these new saves, the whole map is glitched to where everything that happens late game is on the map even when starting new. So the zombie island gas, the stag posts around the map and lorens tower being blown up are all present on a new save.

because of this, the tower specifically, i cant continue on the mission where i kill loren. because, ya know, the top of the tower is gone. Ive tried verifying the file integrity, and reinstalling the whole game but neither worked.

any idea what to do? im now also wondering if i start a new save will it just break as well, any help is appreciated.

I have played finished this game countless times.Single player- Co-op, Never had an issue. You can try back up your saves How I would do this is .rar them or put them in a folder in the same spot. Start the game new. This will show if the saves are corupt. And becarefull with mods. Only one I have ever used with out issue is the nude mod. As you can see in pictures in my profile.

Oh , I remmeber one coop bug, When team is jumping out of chopper to the top of building , pool party to take theplace one player gets blown out to sea. It never has been fixed.That is the only bug I can remember.

And players on team with slow wifi will cause issues in the games timing as they cannot respond fast enough. SHooting through the planes cockpit window comes to mind. WIFI is very bad.

yeah i kinda figured i might need to just hard wipe my saves, thank you for the advice on backup though, appreciate it
