Question about cheats disabling achievements?

Cheats disabling achievements in Steam makes sense, I won't argue that, but if you start the game over without unlocking a single code, are the achievements back on the table, or am I just completely SoL?

1st you need to disable the cheat you enabled from the game's menu in the 1st place.

But if you did disable em, the achievements (at least for that save) don't come back

Then it's most likely it might be a recent bug.
It used to work for me, but then again I never saved while using cheats and only saved once again after being sure that had disabled those. So...

No, the game disabling achievements on cheats is an intended mechanic, I'm just not sure if achievements is restored if you start from scratch

Achievements should be "unlocked" once you load a save prior to enabling cheats

Ah, ok

I just ask cause I got this game on Switch before, and now I'm here on PC, so I wanna know if turning on cheats in any capacity shoots my chances down the drain, cause I do wanna achievement hunt for this game one day
