Genki Spawn Help

I am trying to find a reliable way to get Prof. Genki to spawn in the Overworld. Here are the things I know will help.

- Genki has a higher chance to spawn in Yearwood
- Genki has a higher chance to spawn with higher Police Notoriety

I just encountered him for the first time in 135 or so hours of play in Yearwood (it doesn't help that Carver Island and the Luchadores are my least favorite parts of the game lol) with 5 shields of notoriety, on a rampage around Yearwood after completing Murderbrawl XXXI. I was on a parade of terror with a fully upgraded and infinite ammo Annihilator. Genki spawned behind me in an alley that I wouldn't have seen but for luck. 3 or 4 point-blank shots with the Annihilator killed him, he dropped $300,000.

Anyone else have any reliable ways of summoning our favorite murdercat?

I have no proof, but I think he has higher chance of spawn in one of the randomly chosen neighborhoods. (I just kill 3 close to airport, and week ago 2 near first house)

At some point neighborhood randomly changes to another, so if You not seen him for a while, look somwhare else. But after You killed one, don't go far, look for more.

You must be unlucky. I encountered him twice. Once outside Saints HQ and another in some random surburb.
After the 2nd encounter, I found a Gatsmobile.
Guess I'm lucky.

I always find Gatmobiles early into every new run, and still occasionally see them around. My game seems to love Gatmobiles but hates Genki lol. There's something cathartic about mowing down Genkis in that one Survival in Saints Row IV.

When I bought this on Steam weeks ago, I literally ran into a Genki just after finishing the mission to get the first crib. Luckily that meant I had the grenade launcher on me, so the $200k reward was a nice way to start the game.

When I begin a new game (I do that from time to time, just start from scratch) first thing i do is getting a grenade launcher (to be prepared in case i see him)

The fact that people are still bumping this thread for a 7 year old game makes me very, very happy. Y'all should also invest in Saints Row 4 if you haven't already.

And Saints Row 2 and Saints Row 1 (if you have an Xbox). They are all awesome games. Saints Row 2 and 3 are my favorites, but Saints Row 1 is really good too.

A grenade launcher isnt that great. A trick I picked up from youtube is to run him off and trap him under your vehicle. He should die pretty quick.
