Milo Update — November 2, 2026

• Added in-game text chat. Press Enter to message players in your session. Includes message history, scrollback, and an option to hide the chat feed. Adjusted name sizing for better readability.

• Added password-protected private games. Hosts can choose Public or Private. Protected games display a lock icon and require a password to join.

• Improved the server browser. The browser now defaults to Joinable. In the All filter, unavailable games returned by the search appear dimmed and cannot be joined.

• Added a Disable Weapon FX setting. This optional graphics setting suppresses muzzle flashes, lighting, smoke, and ejected weapon debris while preserving sounds, animations, tracers, and impacts. The setting is off by default.

• Made Sacrifice safer to complete. After a 0.9-second vulnerable startup, the active extraction gains protection against ordinary damage. Also fixed an interruption-related startup issue. Rats and rewards still bank only upon successful arrival.

• Improved Cream Machine prompts. Clearer use and reroll instructions, remaining-reroll counts that disappear at zero, and a separate input for each roll to prevent accidental spending. Interaction prompts are now centered above the wager box.

• Improved barricade repair. Hold Interact to repair nearby damaged barricades while looking away, moving, shooting, or using melee. Repair stays attached to the original barricade and stops when released or fully repaired.

• Clarified revive prompts. Nearby downed teammates show “Revive Player.” The input glyph and “Hold to revive” appear when you are aimed at the teammate, within range, and able to begin reviving.

Addendum — Fixes and Improvements from October 31–November 1

A recap of fixes and improvements from the previous two days:

• Added AZERTY keyboard support. Includes French and Belgian presets, improved movement and wager remapping, and clearer key prompts.

• Fixed grenade and knife cleanup issues that could leave melee unavailable after an interrupted or cancelled action.

• Fixed a multiplayer cooldown issue that could leave firing or other actions locked after network delays.

• Adjusted Cultist chase speeds to respect their target’s available sprint speed, including equipment and movement modifiers.

• Improved Cultist pursuit during jumps and falls, reducing cases where enemies stopped chasing airborne players.

• Improved enemy melee positioning around stairs, ledges, and tight corners, addressing spots where standing or crouching could prevent enemies from attacking.

• Improved revive targeting and bleedout behavior. Revive targeting follows the downed teammate’s body. Bleedout pauses during an accepted revive and resumes with the correct remaining time if interrupted.

• Fixed controller icon preferences. PlayStation and Xbox prompts update when selected, respect Apply/Cancel, and retain the saved selection after restarting.
