Good ways to make money?

Does anyone know some good ways of making money, I've tried sea monster hunting and pillaging but is there not anything better? Is being the captain of a ship worth doing, is running your own stall worth it and if not then is there anything else?

Poker is probably the best if you can pull it off. I personally enjoy SMH (Haunted Seas specifically right now).

Sadly, this week is Kraken Hunt, which pays off a bit less, especially for inexperienced players who don't know enough about Bnav (each player gets their own "ship" in there and has to reach a treasure and return without being killed by the tentacles of the Kraken, or the bomber's bombs).

I suggest to continue doing what you do. I think stalls can turn a profit but they are not easy as there is a lot of competition in the populated isles.

Pillaging on a sloop is usually good PoE, and being a good Bnav'r and owner of the sloop will net you a little bit more PoE than the jobbers and other crew aboard.

Buying and Selling items in the game. Items have a range of price, if you can buy low and sell high it usually makes poe rather easily.

Pillaging and Haunted Seas have made me tons. Just puzzle entire time on SMHs and HSs so that you get paid more, alot more.
