Best weapon between these 5?

I haven't found any top tier list or comparison videos of damage, maybe because this game is not very popular, still I would like to know which of these 5 weapons better for fast kills because I can't decide which one use.

Knives - the ninja playstyle, fast moves but with low attack, have the tornado attack
Naginata - long range, fast moves, easy combos, frenezy.
Rifle - easy to use, pierce, spread, explosive ammo are good.
Chain whip - I like this weapon because is not very common in videogames but is kinda slow, especially the explosive kunais which also don't do a lot of damage.
Chain sickle - fast, long/short range but combos aren't that great.

Eh, I say just go for what tickles your fancy at the time. They're all capable at killing stuff fast, How fast you kill something in this game got more to do with your mitama setup than your weapon of choice.
Sure some weapons probably have a better matchup depending on the oni but in the end its your mitamas that decide if a hunt's 10 minutes or two.

So, yeah. Just go for whatever that works for you.

Rifle seems to do the most damage imo. Fights never last aslong for me when I'm using it. However I don't recommend it for an entire playthrough as it can get boring after longtime use, as well as being quite overpowered.

Question.
Do you use any specific build with the rifle. At the moment I'm at post game and I want to go range due the high damage I take when I go melee.
