Is there anyway to change gender?

I saw some of the female costume and damn do they look fabulous. Unfortunately my character can neither craft nor wear one of those.
I don't mind the methods. Be it file editor or cheat engine.

You could google cheat engine yourself. The one creating the tables has turned to offering the premium scripts only to patreon patrons. One of those scripts may be a character editor, I haven't been able to check.

Not legitamately no. It's a shame we have to resort to cheat engine of all things to change gender. They should add in the full character customization after you start the game so you can make your dream hunk or waifu.

Would the dialogue change though? Aside from the Hot Spring chats and reactions I haven't seen much potential in how the waifus would change their outlook of my female hunter if she actually sported two spears instead of the one she beats oni to death with.
