Is there a way to re-customize your character?
Topic.
I know that in your house you get to change your hairstyle, brows, colours etc., but will it allow you to do more than just that as the game progresses? My character head is kinda abnormal in size... :angry_creep:

Steroids do that to your head.

Nope, and it is the bane of my existence.

I literally have not passed the tutorial-like part of the game because I keep restarting because my character isn't perfect.

This is pretty much my struggle too. I can't seem to get a face the looks right. The NPC faces look fine but something about my character's face always looks off to me and I spend all my time trying to figure out how to fix it.

Still haven't.

If you're doing a female character, I've found that increase the face width to max helps with the "animu" look of most of the NPCs.

Thanks, Ill have to give that a shot. I think my first mistake was not paying attention to the jaw line enough, but then I couldn't figure out what else was still making things feel wrong.

Yeah, I ended up going either min -or- max on most sliders in the end with my female character.

I think after all this effort Im going to wind up leaving most sliders untouched. That looked decent enough. Then I realized I forgot to change my name on that attempt.

One might be able to transplant appearance data from one save file to another. Or maybe someone with sufficient, process hacking skills might find a way to pop up the full customization menu, but who knows whether that'd have a chance of working.

Unfortunately, however the save files work isn't obvious to me. Copying over the main stretch of differences results in it claiming the file is corrupt. I suspect there's a checksum, but there's only one stretch of differences exactly 4 bytes long (which would fit a traditional, CRC32) and that doesn't come up with the same result that's already in it when I zero it and checksum the file. Without some kind of direction, there are just too many possibilities.

Notably, there seem to be two pairs per slot. One pair shares the byte difference offsets with the other, and it contains plain text, but it's ignored by the game when you load. I wonder whether the other one could be an encrypted/obfuscated version of it.
