Don't Buy this Game untill Koei fix it. Patch 1.0.1 caused the game to Crash after lunch.

I've tried every suggested solution. Had the game running the other day, and aside for the ocational CPU spikes it was playable. Now I can't even get the game to launch. I've updated windows (even the optional updates) and updated my Drivers aswell as ran disk clean up and updated vcredist and reinstalled Redistributables. I even ran a system restore to prior to updating windows to see if I could get it running again prior to the updates. No luck. Hopfully Koei Tecmo fix this issue sooner then later.

at $53.99 having a "tough luck buyer beware" policy doesn't reflect well on the company. Also steam forcing Updates is is an absolute buzzkill because thate mean that restoring to an older build of the game to play offline is not a viable alternative while waiting for another patch from Koei to fix this broken game.

inb4 some fool tries to make excuses by suggesting some jenky homebrew solution justifies this Garbage port (of an otherwise fun game).

Should have just got the PS4 version.

Considering I tested both the F310 and F710 and both work fine.

I don't get how people put DOA5 and DW8 as examples of bad performance ports. Those actually run fine even on low end PCs... DOA5's not the best port as it's missing many things from PS4, but it still runs fine, even on an old HD 7750 1GB that I had... are you playing on potatos?

thats what I am wondering too....You should really expect 2012 mainstream/low end gaming hardware to run 2017 games at high to max settings

I'm just going to report this thread. The OP is pretty rude to most of the posters. Clearly he's upset about something he must of did to his pc to cause this game to not work properly, and hes' taking it out on others who tell him what he doesn't want to hear.

Wew these salty kids are funny. After the last update 1.0.2 there is even more CPU spikes. No reason why this vita game should be pushing 100% CPU on load screens and in town. It hilarious that they all just assume it's a user error instead of really bad PC optimization. Fun how the game stoped running after the 1.0.1 update but now it works after the 1.0.2 patch. I guess it was "just my bad mannors" and "my broken PC (that can run nuDoom at 1080p and avarage 120fps)".

Well, I must say I do appreacate that the game is actually running now. As I said in the OP the game itself is fun. Tecmo Koei just needs to sourt out this CPU issue and the game could be a 10/10. Damn same the fanbase have to act like such insufferable jerks because I was looking forward to Dragon Quest Heroes II but now I don't think I want to support a company that alows a bigoted fanbase to harass a customer who was having a legitmate isue with the broken $60 product. You see if it just didn't run when I bought the game then I would have quietly asked for a refund but instead it breaks after the 1.0.1 patch (and roughtly 20 hours invested into the game) and you insufferable cry babies feel the need to spend more time on the forums defending Tecmo then actually playing the game. You should be ashamed of yourselfs.
