Since the PC-Version can affort 60fps, crossplay would be impossible.
Thanks for the follow up!
You're welcome! :)
the reason there isn't a cross platform between the two is because it's a hassle to do but it can be done. just look at ff14 on ps4 that plays with people on PC.
Good lord, it's one of the reasons.
Why runs the PS4-Version at 30?
Why runs the PS4-Version of "God Eater" at 30?
Cause the Vita only can handle 30fps and the devs forced cross-play, so they capped the PS4 version lower.
I just a gave an answer with one of the reasons, why it wouldn't work.
Nah it makes perfect sense. The difference and cap in fps could come from a software/hardware difference that is too great to be compatible with one another. There is a reason why PSO2 on Vita can only access Vita-Exclusive areas but PC can visit both. But this game doesn't work the same way so it makes fine sense with me. Plus... Koei couldnt even make multiplayer for doa5 last round when it came out on steam for the first... year or two? If they can't handle that, how would they manage to bridge the fundamental hardware difference between the vita and PC. (Not to mention, one of the reasons could simply be playstation network not playing nice with steam. Since they use completely different storage clouds.)
