Amulet of Yendor

I found the Amulet of Yendor, and accepted the 4th option (destroy it by flying into a black hole). However, when I returned to the surface of the planet, my away shuttle is gone and I have no way to get back to the ship. Is there anything I can do?

usually if you save and quit, then load your game the shuttle should be placed on the map.

The caves and surface there are often sprawling. You may have ascended on a different screen than the one you went down on. Check the top right of the screen and see if it says something like "north west of landing zone", and head that way to find the shuttle. You can press spacebar at the edge of the screen to transition to the next screen. If there's impassible terrain on the surface, you may find a way down in the caves.

Cool coincidence! I just found it also a couple of minutes ago (I chose a different option than you did, though). You basically can backtrack, using the exact staircases you used to get to that section of the underground, and you'll find your landing spot that way
