15 fps? really?
Pc is an 8350, 280x, 16g ram. This has to be the one game that runs the poorest, the worst, and it doesn'r even look that good... All of the game is loaded into one core, for a 2010 game, this was quite an unpleasant surprise... I regret buimg this game right noe....

somethings wrong with ur game then, im running locked 60fps at 3840x2160 res and max settings, looks great imo.

It really does not look ''great''. Probably ok at best, if you compare to Dirt, or other rally games. There is nothing ''wrong'' with my pc... In fact, resolution has no effect on the fps for me. Only thing that seemed to help was following a fix guide, and defeining cpu affinity to 2 cores, which then gives me 40-50 fps maxed.... 16 fps to 50 fps... This is not a very well optimized game.

2 cpu dont maxed up on big game u need get new quad core cpu man will give ya more 60 to 200 fps mostly ..take ur time firgure out made ur pc smooth it out on big game .. used had 2 core cpu lag badly this game and even on call of duty mw3 and bf2 and 3 and 4 too so put quad higher cpu with better Gpu smooth it out just fine...

It's because the game was terribly ported over. It doesn't know what to do with itself with onscreen objects. I see that the more cores you have, it worsens. It is pathetically bad at stretching itself out on multiple cores so it basically limits itself to a core. That's why doing the core limit fix works well. AMD CPU's are known for their terrible single core performance which is why Intel users look at us like we're stupid (Ex: idk u fukd somthin up i run my geam at 4k and get 10000fps buy a betr pc idot).

Lowering your texture quality or any other settings won't do anything with the hardware you have, it's literally too fast already. You can actually run it at a higher resolution and still get the same FPS. The game is so easy to run, look at your GPU and CPU usage next time and compare that to a demanding game you have and look at the usage. Just terrible porting of the xbox version.

Yeah... Kinda sad that reviews were so optimistic about it. Lack of future proofing by the developers. At the very least the core limiter fix will allow it to be playable. Thank goodness the new generation of consoles are more alike in structure to an actual PC, and we see less of that shoddy business going on...

If you are running Win 7 check out the AMD FX hotfixes, here[support.microsoft.com] and here.[support.microsoft.com]

I run an i7 with nVidia on Win 8.1 and the game runs flawlessly...well....with the exception of some strange texture bug in the loading freestyle area but the actual game areas don't suffer from it.

Edit: Just adding I didn't need to set any affinity either. No tweaks, straight download and play.

I see so many AMD CPU problems in nearly every game forum. I'm more inclined to blame AMD with a poor job making their newer CPUs compatible with games than developers themselves.

I spent many years buying AMD CPUs because I like the underdogs and price/performance, but I finally switched about 6 months ago to Intel i5 and well worth the small price difference for a rock solid CPU, runs cool, sips power, crushes games.

I have this exact same bug and I'm suprised no-one else has mentioned it. For me it exists in the actual free-style levels aswell. Racing seems to be ok. Nvidia gtx980m, i7 3920xm. Shrugs.

I believe others have mentioned it and the common factor is Maxwell architecture GPU's, from memory.

Makes sense, cheers!
IM SORRY BUFFALO Nov 23, 2015 @ 6:39pm
thats quite strange, you should be running it maxxed at 1080p without struggling, on my old card(gtx 670) i was maxxed out, ive never opened up msi afterburner to see the fps overlay but im posotive it was well above 60 with no stuttering or lag spikes, your 280x performs nearly the same as my old 670 so the only thing i can think of would be your cpu? i was running on a i5 4670k @4.4ghz, open up task manager and see your cpu usage per core and report back
Boizaum Nov 23, 2015 @ 7:10pm
Yeah, it is. I have one core doing all the job, we know that amd cores are a little bit like ''half cores''... The game looked kind of nice, too bad refund policy wasn't available at the time. It just doesn't work on my system.

yeah this game is horribly optimized. I get an average of 25fps but its only using 50% of my gpu! The game also looks dated almost ps2 looking graphics lol

i have your same problem, my specs are:
Amd Fx 7500 2.1 Ghz quad core, ram 8gb, hdd 1000gb r7 260 2gb.
in single i get 45-70 fps, in a normal race i get 10-17 fps.
wtf
