The game was pretty much built around the idea of controlling the bike and rider separetly so to add mode for single stick control would take away from that
Are we playing the same game ?
I know its possible to map both sticks to only one using xpadder, but you'd have to find a way to fine tune it because when i tested it out it was way too jumpy and uncontrollable
Pretty sure we are, lol. I don't map both to one stick, I just don't use the reflex all that much. It has very specific usage. Some people do alot better without it, some need it constantly. It just depends on how you play the game.
When I first started playing the game on the 360 (when it first came out), I tested a track with, and without the stick. And for me at least, I got alot better times with very minimal usage of it.
Interesting. Yeah, the way I ride it's hard to imagine not using the right stick because Im constantly using it the lean back for traction or outside for corning or scrubbing.
I started on 360 aswell. Got the demo the minute it was available and then countless hours online when the game released but using a single stick never did work out for me
If you want to corner fast...you must use it
